Cheapest website for new gear?

I've found the epicTv shop has really cheap equipment especially for sport climbing. Draws under $40 and 70m rope under $100. Their shipping to the US is pretty expensive though and I was looking for something equally as cheap for US shipping. Half the places I look just sell expensive black diamond stuff. I'm mostly looking for sport climbing equipment.

With exceptions. Ropes and other similar items are considered "heavy" and ship at $52.53 to US. Multiple ropes and other similar items are considered "extra heavy" and ship at $126.68

Depends on what you're buying and when. Moosejaw, Backcountry, Backcountry Gear, and Steep and Cheap come to mind. Mountain Project can be good, too.

Liberty Mountain, they have great products and warehouses in Utah and PA, so shipping is very reasonable.

Never had a rope get charged extra but maybe. I've bought 5 ropes from them.

epic TV was epic when free US shipping started at $150 and ropes didn't have a heavy charge.

Scored some great rope deals and occasional Totem deals back then. Now they are just occasionally the best price. Just another place to check.

AAC's cheapest membership + "pro" deals might be another avenue to explore also

9.5 x 60m Edelweiss rope at Sierra Trading. $109 shipped. Looks to be a bi-pattern too.

alieexpress can sell you anything cheap, if you have no concerns about destroying civilization.

When was the last time you bought a rope from them? I've not bought from them because their website specifically says ropes get the $52.53 shipping charge to USA

Mid 2020 iirc, my friend bought a rope mid to late last year and got no heavy charge either.

I could be wrong though, I would say go through the checkout and see if it applies.

Just tried to go through checkout and shipping shows 0$ on a Beal opera

Partially combining orders with friends, partially sharp rocks

Als.com is good right now with 20% off and using activejunky.  Their free shipping is actually free (to AK and HI)

Als usually has a 10% code that also works on top of sale items -  ALS10 or something like that.

Varuste.net seems to have the cheapest public pricing for Petzl on the planet.

Is there any translation plug-ins you use?

ActiveJunky.com is a great spot to keep tabs on the deals, they give you cash back too

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
