Meteora, Greece Climbing

Hi, any intel on hiring a rock climbing guide in Meteora? My husband and I are beginner/intermediate trad/sport climbers, not good enough to bring our own gear or navigate on our own. Thanks!!

I dimly recall there may have been a climbing guide service operating out of the campground (Campsite Vrachos Kastraki) when we were there.

The guides we saw people using were mostly Austrian or German and families had brought them with.

You might give the campground a shout, or, if you secure lodging, ask them.

Great area.

I met a professional guide in Meteora but it was almost 10 years ago. Don't remember his name but he was right in the village. you might be able to locate him or another guide via the Greek Tourist office
