Pine Creek Canyon vs. Sean Snyder
|
This is really sad. I fear there is nothing to do to prevent this without causing equal damage to the community and access. |

Saw this thread and was curious so drove up to pine creek to check it out. I must say, the via ferrata is a great addition to the area! Centrally located from the parking and a easy 10-15 minute approach depending on fitness - very accessable. Get on it!!! |

No one wants this representative for any of our endeavors. |

What's the story about Sean trying to kill Dean Potter? |
|
Again: hopefully his Volvo stays well-maintained and in working order to continue to allow him to travel to all these areas |
|
I seriously doubt someone like this is even licensed/insured to drive. Just sayin |

Here's a response from our friendly neighborhood climbing ranger in the Valley: "Hi highline Yosemite friends. I’m sure we’re all aware of the Sean Schnyder bolting vandalism that’s happened in Yosemite. I had a talk with Jesse, the head Law Enforcement climbing rangers in Yosemite. He’s very much on our side with wanting to inhibit any ability for Sean to do further damage, and will be using the help of the rest of the LE’s in Yosemite as well. The destruction of the bolts by itself is not enough for a legal case against him since it is not NPS property. However, Jesse says that the more paper trails and statements the better. He asks that you send written statements with detailed observations with as much specificity regarding time/place/events as possible, as well as any threats of violence or related threats he may have said to anyone. These statements making a paper trail of observations will be the most helpful for the legal case. You can send these directly to his email at Jesse_McGahey@nps.gov. Let me know if there’s anything anyone would like to add or I could help mediate with between the NPS and the highline/climbing community. Love you guys!" His actions effect not only the highlining community, but also the climbing community as well. If you want to take a stand against what the Swan has been doing, please reach out to NPS so that we can prevent the actions of one individual from continuing to negatively impact the highlining and climbing community. |

Mr Rogers wrote: Well, Mr "How NOT to slackline" made the accusation in his video, indicating Shawn (Sean?) also served jail time for it. I had never heard this one before, so I think it would be prudent for someone to explain the story instead of just making stabs in posts or in Youtube videos. |

lol... last man on the deal team? |
|
I think he tried to push him off the Arrow tip or some shit. |
|
I heard Snyder runs underground toddler fights in Mexico. |
