Has anyone every brought a couple hooks in their carry on luggage.  Specifically the BD talon, cliffhangar, and grappling hooks.  Thanks!

I would avoid if possible.  I had one of my “big wall spoons” confiscated once, because the can opener on the end was considered dangerous.  “Sharp spoon” the attendant kept saying.  Anything they don’t know what is is, made of metal, could be taken, I reckon.

just check a bag. easiest way to not get into this issue in the first place.

I don't tempt the TSA anymore after i got a hard time about trying to carry on a multitool WITH NO KNIFE

I just carried a smallish aid rack on today I have some hooks like the bd talon and cliffhanger I also have a nut tool. I did leave my beaks behind on account of them looking a bit dangerous. I made it through TSA no problem.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
