What are some clothing items, hardware, or other things that you love but have sadly been discontinued or the update is not as good as the original?

Came here to say the same, I've squirreled away 3 new pairs I've found on ebay and before they were discontinued though. I just wore one of those pairs this week, I fear the day I run out. ;)

Sierra trading Post has had these on sale for like 40% off for a while.  Might be able to snatch one for cheap still.  I also use this atc w/ a bulletproof edelrid carabiner and the combo works great

Those pants look a lot like Sigma FL pants from Arc, which are the best climbing pants ever.

3/8" RBs, and the Muira XX. 2 very different ways to cheat.

I think Not Hobo Greg bought the last of them! Maybe he'll sell you one.

Backcountry had some in stock a few hours ago too, but it looks like those are gone now as well

I bootied one and it wasn’t bad, like a tweener size between a BD #3 and #4. I never had the cajones to attempt a gunks tie-off in a horizontal, wound up parting with it for somebody’s starter rack.
