Does anyone know of a bulk generic chalk supplier?

I go through chalk way too fast. It's probably because my footwork is bad. Does anyone know where I can generic magnesium carbonate in bulk? Thanks! |

We purchase blocks of chalk like gymansts use. crumble it up to whatever texture/consistency you like. https://www.amazon.com/SPRI-Gymnastics-Climbing-Bouldering-Weight-Lifting/dp/B079BG3LGB |

Yeah; asking for a friend who climbs a lot at the Garden... |

Call up some chemical supply houses. I use to buy big bags of it in the 1980's. Basically I'd fill a garbage can in my garage and then sell 2 lb bags for $5. Made enough to finance my climbing while I finished school. It's hard to remember but I think it was 100# for ~$75.00. If you can, test it out before buying as some makes had a slightly different feel than the blocks. |

Frank endo does bulk orders for pretty cheap |

Not bulk bulk, but I've bought Enzo's gymnastics chalk off of amazon before and it was pretty affordable for a big old box of chalk blocks. It was a different texture but I actually really liked it. |

If you wanna attack the issue from another angle, a good chalk ball can slow down your consumption a bit and help keep more of it in your bag. |

Metolious sells a 5 lb bag of chalk. It is not that big, but I go through chalk very fast and it had lasted me about 6 months and is about Halle way full, and I have given a away at least a few handfuls of it as well. |

Your welcome. |

If you can sample some stuff then it might be a good idea to test it out. We got some in our climbing group and the one person that got it because they were going through a lot of chalk seems to chalk up more often, lose more chalk out of their bag and leaves more of it on the wall. It’s so fine that when you stick your hand in your bag it gets blown out. I’d imagine the blocks instead of the powder would eliminate that issue though. |
