Second Ascent Gear - Affordable Secondhand Online Gear Store

Hey guys! I'm a trail runner, backpacker and climber local to Salt Lake City!  I spend a lot of time in the mountains and foot hills & am passionate about getting others into the outdoors as well.  During the Covid shutdown, I constructed a little business in the effort to get others out there for less.  I feel that the mountains should be accessible to all so I created Second Ascent Gear ( secondascentgear.com).  I thought that I would share a place to get gear for great prices - its time that we get out there and our gear doesn't hold us back!

Another great option is this womxn's/femme-specific consignment shop, Isella Outdoor, which was founded last summer. The site is aimed at providing more affordable gear to those breaking into outdoor sports. 

Is Second Ascent just online or do you guys ever do in-person pop-up shops?

Are you related to the Second Ascent in Seattle?

We are located in SLC Utah.  At the current time we just have an online presence - we offer local pickup / meetup and shipping.  We are not associated with the Seattle Second Ascent - just a new small start up in SLC.
