Momentum Gym: Sandy or Millcreek?

I live 15 minutes from Momentum Sandy and about 16 minutes from Momentum Millcreek.

I'm thinking of getting a gym membership and doing some indoor climbing to improve my rock climbing fitness and skills.

Planning on climbing during the day to avoid the crowded after work evening crush.

The Millcreek gym is apparently larger, which is good, I suppose, all else being equal.  Because of this, I am leaning towards the Millcreek location right now.

Any reason I should prefer Sandy over Millcreek?

Are you just trying to suss out which location you should aim to go to most often? I used to work at Momentum Millcreek and, unless things have greatly changed, your membership is valid at all Momentum locations. They have you set a preferred location during sign up just so they can track what locations can expect what level of traffic.

I didn't realize that my membership was valid at both locations.

I thought I had to choose one or the other.

Thanks for the heads up on that.  I guess I can stop worrying about which one now.

. . . and if you visit Houston or Seattle, you’re good to go there.
Millcreek has steep endurance lead climbing, while Sandy is good for moderate mileage. Lehi is a massive bouldering wonderland

Welcome!

I live 2 minutes from Millcreek.... and 29 minutes from Sandy....

I still go to both... Especially after Brendan's setting crushes my soul.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
