Crampon, snow shoe combination?

Does anyone know of a snow shoe that will allow crampons to be clamped into them to combine the two products? What I'm asking is if there is a very light weight snow shoe that does not come with crampons already installed,  so that a mountaineer can use any preferred crampons with them?

I have to admit they are a bit bulky. They look very light weight.

Billy Goat Tech Ascent plates. Clamp between the sole of your boot and the crampon. Still give you full use of the front points. Pack flat for easy storage inside the backpack. 

It sounds like you are describing the BGT Ascent Plates.  I got my wife a pair for Christmas but we haven't had a chance to try them yet (I got myself a pair at the same time).
