Gear Rental in OC

I'm going to be in the LA area for my cousins wedding this month and I wanted to squeeze some bouldering in. Is there somewhere to rent crash pads out there? Also looking for suggestions on good locations this time of year. Thinking about stoney point and pirate cove. Is black mountain open this time of year? |

Rubidoux? https://www.mountainproject.com/area/105924088/mount-rubidoux Also some stuff at Big Rock: https://www.mountainproject.com/area/105799050/big-rock-area Just don't leave anything valuable in your car at either place. Don't know about conditions for Black Rock, but it is a long drive and if it is open, road conditions are likely to be impassable without 4X4. Edit: sorry, I went off topic re: pads. I know nothing about that. |

Paige Hunt wrote: Thanks Paige for responding to my post. At Big Rock you can boulder traverse all day long. The landings are pretty much flat sand. If there are other parties around, they will prolly let you tie in for a climb. |

I know that many REIs rent shoes and pads, so you may check with them |
