I've got a 2010 Mazda 5 stealth camper I built out myself and lived in for a few months before pulling the trigger on a Promaster. I absolutely loved living in this thing and would have happily gone on doing so if I hadn't found a good deal on a big boy van. I'm selling it cheap because I want it out of my hair, owning two vehicles while living in one is a pain. Hit me up if you have any questions!

Asking $1,000 cash or offer me gear for trade, based in Durham NC, 246,XXX miles.

Lowering the price and taking offers in gear and/or mixed cash & gear for climbers only because I want it to go to a fellow dirtbag!

Things I really want in trade: Silent Partner, Wild Country Revo, totems, haul bag

If you have other things for trade hit me up anyway, I'm a sucker for candy

Pictures Here

About the car.

The Good:

  • Passed state inspection and had a tune-up two months ago
  • Extremely stealthy
  • Cheap AF
  • Runs well
  • Fully ready for move in
  • Fun car to drive
  • Two owner history (rental car to ~30k, then family car until it was passed down to me)
  • Recently replaced spark plugs
  • I still have the back seats if you want to take out the camper setup and use it as a normal car. It has two more rows (four seats) that can go in.

The Bad:

  • One headlight is out
  • Front bumper & gravel shield can be a little scrapey when hitting speed bumps
  • Suspension is squeaky (they used the same suspension as the Mazda 3, a smaller car. This does not affect performance, it's just kinda squeaky on speed bumps)
  • High milage

About the build.

The Good:

  • You can live in it or use it as a weekender
  • Ready to go, just add your stuff
  • Super comfortable mattress
  • Tons of storage
  • Sleeps me quite comfortably at ~5'10" in sleep mode

The Bad:

  • Can't sleep two (Or do, I'm not the boss of you)
  • Home made and it shows

Also if you want to get it but don't live close enough I'll discount it by the amount of your ticket then you can christen it with a road trip back home!

Sounds like a sweet deal for some cheap college climber (which I used to be) someone should get on this.

Bumping because this looks like a cool set-up for someone dedicated to not showering for a week.

Why hasn’t some young dirtbagger snatched this yet?! This has ‘Walmart super center camping’ written all over it. 24 hour bathrooms...come on! Bump

Is the headlight out for something other than a blown bulb?

What kind of real fuel mileage do you get?

As far as I know it's just a blown bulb, it's pretty much due for another as I replaced it a few years ago but I don't really drive it much other than to make sure the oil stays happy so I haven't bothered!

Gas mileage is decent, ~25 mpg if memory serves!
