Did you delete your original post and re post?

I never comment about pricing on people's stuff, but this is almost disrespectfully absurd!

I built these out for years with a large van build out operation, and this is rediculous. I ALMOST be able to understand the price if this had a pop top, but no way. Im an artist/musician and I'm 100% all about monetarily honoring your craft, but way too far guys. Good luck, I think you'll need it for this one.

Anyone thinking about buying this. Just go buy brand new and have a reputable company that will honor warranties on repairs/products do it for you. If you're going to spend this money, might as well go professional.

Whenever someone posts a van priced like this, there's always a bunch of commentary.

The reality is (I have a close friend who runs a van build company in CO), while you might not pay for it -there are hordes of people paying this price and higher.

There are comparable vans that sell for 100k+ every day. I don't blame anyone for trying to get some of that dumb money.

Interesting... I posted something in this thread earlier, but my post is gone?

However... the “notify on site” was still checked off...

I agree with this, prices are insane right now. Go spec one out on a custom van site, your mind is going to get blown.

Does anyone actually know someone who has spent 90k on a forum? Serious question, not trying to hate.....

I have to agree with the other folks on here.  You are offering a premium build but without all the warranties that other builders offer.

Every post I have seen of somebody selling a brand new van they built out or one they used for a few months, they always price it high and get shit on by people in this forum.

You would have better luck trying to sell it elsewhere.  But like someone else said, I can't blame you for trying.  Good luck.

In response to the comments above. I know nothing of vans and prices beyond that I’ve seen some go for more and some go for less. I didn’t delete and repost, so I’m not sure what happened to those whose posts disappeared. I was actually surprised there were comments because I received no notifications at all. Perhaps something glitched. I’m trying to help my brother sell a van and figured that mixed in to all the climbers on here might be someone who was interested.

I bet he’d throw in the lecroix

Vans like this take more than a couple blood and sweat hours. Might of missed that in your calculations.

They certainly do, it’s even a “sick build out” but not worth the 50k on top of the van price in my opinion. I also ain’t buyin’ it so my opinion doesn’t matter.

If you have to ask how much... You can't afford it

Many hours into this build... Totally worth it to the lucky buyer

So this is where the "60k+ sprinter" meme comes from

lucky buyer or fool. it's all a matter of perspective but most would say cars depreciate in price. modifications don't add value in excess of their value when added to vehicles. flip houses, not cars.

van dwellers are most likely to be cheap, value oriented.

I bought my same year promaster off lease with 40k miles for 16k and then dumped 14k into the build (which I think is personally nicer, more storage, real hardwood almost everywhere, same amenities). It of course took a bunch of time, probably 10-20 hours a week for a few months.

I feel like the range the van is in I would expect an indoor shower and toilet, and a just more complete build. If you are paying new rv prices, it's gotta be a new RV essentially.

When did IKEA start selling van kits? That thing looked like an industrial warehouse!

For 88k it's gotta be a top end build, I mean your buddy has 2 Flooded Lead Acid for the battery bank! The majority of true van life folks have been using Lithium batterys for the last few years, with AGM being used to save some cash.

Ill give you 25k for it, then part the interior out and redo it properly.

Not neccesarily, there is definitely a luxury market, and higher end B class campers sell at this price and higher all the time. Just not mountain project lol.

i'm not super informed but i'd guess the people spending lots of money are buying 4x4 sprinters and already built out campers rather than promasters. 90k for a promaster is just weird. how does a vehicle appreciate more than 100%?
