I’m new to the Bay Area and I want to get back into climbing. I have some outdoor sport climbing experience and gear - I used to lead around 5.10 and I have a rope, some draws, a grigri, and I recently even acquired a foul (but free) bouldering pad from Craigslist that looks like it was used as a dog bed. I’d love to climb with someone a little more experienced who I can learn from or someone who is stoked to learn new stuff with me. I want to learn more about setting anchors, do some multipitch stuff, get into trad climbing, I'm game for whatever. Let me be your belay bitch

Hi Hannah...nice to meet you. I am looking for climbing partners to climb at the Pinnacles during the winter and then Yosemite and Tahoe in the summer/fall. I have over 20 years of experience climbing throughout California, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and Arizona. I can climb on the weekends and sometimes during the week. I am not sure where you live but I am open to meeting up at the Pinnacles or Castle Rock to spend a day climbing.

Hi Hannah, I am also somewhat new to the bay area. I probably have less experience than you but I've been learning a lot over the last few months (I took 3 SAANO classes: anchors and rescue, trad climbing, multi-pitch). I have mainly been doing top roping at Split Rock in southern Marin County over the weekends but am looking to do much more. When gyms were still open I could boulder up to V6 and outside I have done top rope routes at 5.10, but have not sport climbed before (really want to do that though). I am always interested in doing an adventure out somewhere but also if you want to go for a climb or 2 nearby I am down. Let me know! (I have my own rope, anchor gear, I use an ATC - hope you're okay with that)

Hey Hannah and all. I'm in the same boat looking for climbing partners. I have 3 years indoor and 1 year of outdoor experience sport climbing and anchor making. I have no experience placing trad gear but plenty of enthusiasm to learn. I love learning new things and especially in climbing, so I'm definitely interested in teaching each other and learning together. I have a rope, 16 draws, a grigri, and everything else needed for a solid day of single or multi-pitch sport climbing. I lead in the 10's but am a bit rusty. I live in SF in the Inner Richmond and just enjoy getting out and climbing. Age: 29

Hi everyone, thanks for your awesome replies! Maybe the best route would be to create a GroupMe/FB group for Bay Area climbers looking for partners (given that everyone would keep covid safety in mind). Let me know if you’re interested and DM me your contact info and I’ll create a group.

Heya. What days you off? I’m usually looking to get out Sunday through Tuesday, if you’re down. Also, there is a group on fb already, called Bay Area climbing partners.

Hi Hannah! I'm on the Peninsula and love climbing but haven't done too much of it during Covid. I'm more of a trad/multipitch/alpine climber than sport climber (i.e. stoked but weak at the moment) but happy to do whatever and especially love climbing with other women. I've had ~2 years of experience leading trad up to 5.9ish primarily in yosemite/red rocks/tahoe areas and am super down to pass on knowledge around trad and multipitch. Have all the gear for it. Let's plan some climbing trips! Let me know :)

Hey all, throwing my helmet into the ring as well. I moved to the Bay Area in October and am looking for climbing partners. I have 12 years of experience, mostly sport and bouldering but I climb some trad as well. Psyched to go check out Pinnacles, Mt Saint Helena, or wherever on the weekends!
