Looking for some beta on building a crack trainer that I don’t have to anchor to walls in my rental. Any ideas?

The only cheap and secure thing have come up with uses a single eyebolt drilled into a ceiling joist. Idk if you could do this but it only leaves a small hole that can easily be repaired. Then I build an adjustable crack out of 2x8x8s and hung it at an angle from the eyebolt by a runner.

I built this crack/ hangboard setup in my rental. I am more than happy to give a more in depth breakdown of everything if you would like.

Wow that is impressive. I guess I would like to see more closely the bolts you used as spacers/adjusters for the hand crack. I am just using scrap pieces of wood on mine so it it not adjustable.

I used 3/8 inch (I believe) threaded rods to make the crack adjustable. A butterfly nut makes it easy to adjust without the need of tools. Then just a longer rod to attach it to the vertical supports.
