Between covid and 430p sunset and Estes being Estes, I suggest pizza at Antonio's and downloading Star Trek Voyager off of Netflix to watch in your van/hotel/bed of your 4runner or whatever. I think I watched Honey I shrunk the Kids with my girlfriend but you get the idea...you'll also have like 15min -> 1 hour of homework depending on your existing, formal, avalanche-related trip planning skills.
That being said I'm sure there's a local tinder scene, even during Rona. Avalanche safety could be a good profile hook in the front range.
Find the "cave" (more of a series of interconnected narrow slots) on Old Man Mountain and do it at night. It's a local tradition--although maybe not at this time of year.
I'm partial to the Rock Inn for takeout, Bird & Jim is also good.
1) Build confidence - Get absolutely tanked. If you can survive avalanches hungover you'll never die when you're sober. Science.
2) Check out the local scene - from the safety of your warm hotel room cruise Tinder for a potential mate
3) Build character - jump in the lake and see how long you can hold your breath. It will simulate being buried in an avalanche. Strive for 15 minutes ideally.
