JBL Charge Speaker question/modification

I used to have a UE boom and it had a little metal clip attachment point. Very convenient. Now I have a JBL Charge and I’m considering drilling a little hole in the edge of the speaker or possibly gluing an anchor point. Any thoughts on how to do it? The speaker is waterproof and eventually if I drill a hole; there is a place that would allow water into the speaker. I think I’m safe drilling through the edges but the further i get to the outside, the less material and weaker it would be.

another thought is to run a circle around each end and connect them into some sort of harness/Swiss seat, using accessory cord.

It’s waterproof and pretty rugged and I just want to drag it around and be able to clip it to a pack and not worry about it flipping out while I flop about

You can carry it in a chalk bag.

Or a variation: a mesh bag like come with some harnesses.

Just let me pair with it now and then to make my play choice.  ;)

A worm drive hose clamp around it. Then you can sling the clamp. No holes, no leaks. And wont void the warranty since its removable

Hose clamp ought to work well if you have one on hand. A double constrictor knot (pictured) or a hangman knot could work with cord laying around as well, preferably backed up and redundant.

Put it in a vise and keep cranking until you hear a pop

I can’t in good conscience help you blast your shitty EDM at a public crag...

Yeah that’s what i have for the kids bike rides. It works all right  I want to drag something around on river trips too so the beach bag is fine, but the one I have is super fine mesh and I don’t trust it getting smashed up. That silicone thing homeboy posted looks good.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
