Is there an ap like MTB Project or MTN Project for helping plan Backcountry Ski adventures?  Seems like interactive maps with popular BCSki routes would be super helpful, especially if it was integrated or could be compared to the Avi forecasts and sorted by location, pitch, aspect, etc?

There's a link with a snowflake icon on the bottom of every page. Its part of the mountainproject site design

A couple backcountry skiing guidebooks exist for my area in the Tetons. The ACC library or your local library may have these.

Check out the tgr forums, just ignore the trolls. The thing about Backcountry skiing is that nobody wants to share their pow and nobody wants to take a newbie  into avy  territory because you just don't want to go there with someone who's a liability. There is good guide books for the cascades.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
