Spantik Sizing

Hey! I'm hoping to get a little help on spantik sizing. I found a used pair that unfortunately I won't be able to try on before buying. 

I wear a 43.5 in sportiva hiking boots, the spantiks that I found are the same size,  43.5.

Are spantiks fairly true to size? Or should I be looking for a half size or full size up?

They will be my first boot, used solely for climbing ice.

I use Sportiva size 43-44 depending on the boots/ shoes.

I've got:

TC pro 43 & 43.5

TX3 43.5

Bushido 43.5

Trango Ice Cube 43.5

Spantiks 44

I'm center-cut street 43. My three pairs of TC Pro are {42, 42.5, 43}. My main ice boot for many seasons is the silver Trango, size 43. My Spantik is size 44, which allows me to wear a thick sock over a thin sock, and to still have generous circulation and wiggle room.

I'd think you'd be best in 44 or 44.5. If your application is more technical ice, go 44; if your application is expedition/high altitude mountaineering, go 44.5.

I will plug that I would be willing to sell my size 44 Spantik, which is in great condition.

Here's some more sizing info... I find in general I'll fit anywhere from a US 9.5 to 10.5

Guide tennies: 42.5

Five ten pinks: 42.5

Moccasyms: 42

Wow guys, I don't think climbing shoe sizes have ANY correlation to boot sizes. Apples and Oranges.

My Spantik size is the same at my other La Sportiva boot sizes. They are consistently a 46 accross all styles.

My input is that I use the same size in all La Sportiva shoes. 

I use 46 for the Bushidos and 46 for the Spantiks and the Nepals
