Well the title states the question, looking to buy the tape in bulk and preferably a cheap option would be best. I've heard if you wanna go hard at crack Climbing skip the gloves and use tape. Thanks everyone

I use Metolius tape and have had great results. I use the method outlined on their packaging and usually get 3-5 uses out of a pair of gloves, depending on where/how I'm climbing. Highly reccomend.

I find Leuko tape is significantly better than metolious or euro. More sticky and abrasive resistant and the roles are larger

I have never found metolius tape, or their tape glove method, to be that useful in situations where I needed tape. Indeed, it was very rare for a person to climb more than one day at Vedauwoo with the metolius technique, although the tape would persist until their supply ran out.

That it works for you indicates that i've been living too sheltered an existence.

I used Kendall and mueller pretape until Kendall sucked. I use Euro Mueller and Mueller pretape now.

Pretape is clutch if you sweat a lot.

I don't tape up too often but I've had good success with hockey tape. Way cheaper than climbing branded tape and works perfectly fine.

Black Diamond tape is probably the worst I've ever used.

The Metolius tape is way better (i.e. stickier) than Eurotape.

For all the rave reviews Eurotape gets, it performs closer to shitty generic athletic tape than it does to Metolious tape. Maybe I've never bought the "real" stuff, but I've got it from a bunch of places including at Gearheads in Moab and it's always peeled off disappointingly quickly.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
