Tricks for stoping heel slip
|
Anyone have good solutions or tricks for stoping that tiny little bit of heel slip in your boots with out cranking them down so tight you affect circulation in your feet? I recently tried some leather adhesive heel pads, they seem to help lock my foot in a little better, but im skeptical of how long they last. |

Work on a combination of insoles and sock thinkness to fill the boot without cutting off circulation. |

Thanks, i have that part dialed pretty well. Just curious if anyone has good tricks to stop that last few millimeters of slip when you really settle your weight onto your feet. |

Have not used them in boots used them as part of my achilles tendon rupture recovery. |

Neoprene heel guards is what I use as a narrow heeled person. Ezeefitsport.com is where I got mine. Have worked great at preventing heel slip and blisters on long days in boots. |

I cant tell from your pic, is that a double boot with a heat-moldable liner? If so, have you cooked it? |

I have not had good luck with those suede things. I’ve had one corner start to roll up on me and cause a blister, but then the rest is impossible to remove. |

Yes after a few pitches dry tooling they started to roll up, i ripped them out after that. |

I’m thinking put foot in boot, then fill with expanding foam. It insulates, you wouldn’t need any fancy warm socks. The downside is it costs $700 every time you go out. |

Tried that, worked extremely well for a season, the fit was worth defaulting on my mortgage. |
