Dallas Climbing Partner

I will be in Dallas November 1- 28. I will be in Arlington area but down to drive. I am looking for a partner to climb with in the gym and outside. intermediate climber with a lot of experience with sport and multi-pitch. I have only followed on trad.

Where is this fabled outside climbing in Dallas that you speak of? I lived there for 5 years and only found Paradise on the Brazos, which is.... not a paradise.

It's early, so I'm going to assume you weren't intentionally being a jerk and that you just didn't glean the important details from his post.  OP states he's going to be in Dallas for nearly a month.  He also states gym climbing, of which there is plenty.  Based on the length of his stay, it's totally reasonable to also seek a partner for outside adventures as day or weekend trips to Wichita Mountains, Mineral Wells, Reimer's Ranch, Enchanted Rock, or any of a dozen bouldering areas within striking range.  

Hi Chris, I have a lot of free time and live in Dallas. I would love to join you for some outdoor stuff and maybe the gym too. I've been on a road trip for 2 and a half months climbing but I will be home by then and will be itching to get out. Give me a shout at 214226134 two.

Awesome! I know the outside climbing is a drive from Dallas but I'm definitely down for some day or weekend trips. I am in South Korea at the moment so I can't reach out to your cellphone until I land in the US on Oct 31st. Apologies if that came across as trollish. I spent five years in Dallas and found no decent outdoor climbing around the metro area.

As you mentioned, outdoor climbing in Dallas is, not in Dallas, but there is lots of fun stuff at the crags you mentioned.

Lots of good gyms to keep you busy inbetween the weekend jaunts to Reimer’s , E-rock, etc.

I'm always down for some climbing, either in the gym or outside. I go to Mineral Wells every other weekend or so and am down to head elsewhere. I love in Fort Worth, so arlington is not too far. Hit me up at 8176817909 if you're interested.
