As of today, Friday 10/23, the park remains under closure order until State Park’s damage assessment is complete (according to Napa County Parks and Rec.) How soon it will open is anyone’s guess.
The good news is that none of the areas (parking lot, approach trails, crag sectors such as the Bear) WEST of Hwy 29 were affected or burned. The Eastern side of the park including Table Scraps and Table Rock climbing areas were affected, but I’m not aware how severely. I did see burned dried vegetation all the way to base of “Aloha Patrol” on Table Rock. The base area climbing may have been impacted to some degree.
