Any recs for cheap belay glasses on Amazon?

I had some $15 belay glasses from Amazon. Initially they seemed fine except for the horrible odor from off gassing but the metal hinge ended up breaking after 3 months.

Any recs for decent, cheap ones? Thanks

These have been well worth the small purchase and have been going strong for a year now. Although it sounds like they could be the same ones you had, since these did smell horrible the first couple uses.

I have the y&y from amazon, not quite as cheap but very nice and seems they will last decades. 

I got the BG ones off Amazon early this season and don't have any complaints

The BG ones are the ones I had. Maybe I got a bad one because one hinge broke pretty soon. The off gassing was pretty bad for a couple of weeks. I had to just let them sit out until it stopped. The first time I wore them my eyes were watering and I had to stop wearing them for those 2 weeks.

Anyone try the Le Pirate ones?

I have a pair of Y&Y clip ups and they work really well with over my prescription glasses.  They are on the heavy side, so the comfort really depends on having glasses that don't dig into your nose to begin with.  I'm able to flip them up while wearing a helmet.
