Strikeout option in text editor
|
How hard would it be to add the “Strikeout” text style feature alongside “Bold” and “Italic”. Always fun to pretend to say the wrong thing and then strike it out. also, nice to be able to omit text from concern, but still keep an easy record of it. Low priority ask, given that it’s just a font style, but is it possible? How hard to implement? |

I don't know how Cesar did it, but I've used this one: https://www.piliapp.com/cool-text/strikethrough-text/ |

Interesting is pressing ctrl-s in the editor marks the text as (the words strikeout, bold and italic have all been marked) Seems the editor correctly adds <s>xxx</s> correctly but not the normal text display. |

Awesome! Thanks! Really looking forward to being able to quickly strikethrough items sold in the Buy/Sell forums! Much obliged. |

Marc801 C wrote: What I tried explaining above is that the generator generates new unicode characters out of the ones you entered. These look like strikeout characters. That's why it works anywhere you can enter unicode characters. But it's not true strikeout, meaning you cannot just turn it on/off. Its a different alphabet that looks like the latin letters with a strikeout. Either way, now we have real support which is nice. |

Latin letters, huh? (I mean to be friendly and cheeky, even if I’m being an asshole. Gunga la gunga.) Thanks for the unicode “entirely separate characters” explanation. Fascinating! Thanks to the MP dev team, we certainly have a lot going for us. |
