What’s the best Prusik cord? Should I buy a sterling hollow block? Or get a blue water 30m x 7mm accessory cord and cut it down? Other suggestions? I will be using it primarily as a rappelling friction hitch. Thanks

Buy a bunch of 6mm cord.  You'll have prusiks for years or maybe an anchor cord as well.

Hollow block is cool. No bulky knot. Grabs very well. Definitely trust it over cord if the rope is wet. Downside is price but mine has been going strong for 3 years.

Jared's answer is the most efficient though. Buy 30 feet of cord tie 2 prusiks and a quad for 10 bucks.

Make your own with some  6mm cord, I make mine  just over 2’ long
