Camping at Robinson Bluff?

Hello,

I have never been to Robinson Bluff before and was wondering about the camping at the park or possibly nearby. Is it possible to get there late Friday night (10p) with camping spots still available? Is the park the only place to camp nearby?

Thanks in advance

Are you aware you can camp inside Robinson Bluff, near the top of the stairs down to the crag?

I've only been there about 4 times, but I have never seen the camping at the top of the bluffs anywhere near capacity, at any point on the weekend. I've never looked into camping anywhere else.

Ok, that's good to know! No, I did not know that the camping was inside Robinson Bluff. I assumed it was it's own park or whatever. How are the mosquitoes/poison ivy during the summer? I'm planning on going this upcoming weekend 8/22 if its raining in the RED.

Thanks!

Another one of us residing in MO... for now, Welcome to the state of long drives to short climbs, here's to making the best of it!

Bring bug spray, I've had 3 ticks this year alone

I hiked by my house and JFC 40 or more ticks in 3 miles.  Will bring my bug wipes.  I love the smell of OFF in the morning
