I recently bought a kneebar pad, the only problem is I can't seem to keep it from sliding off. Any tips or ideas? I have a bit of hair on my thighs I'm not sure it's helping with adhesion.

If it’s a slip-on use duct tape around the top of your pad and upper thigh

What pad is it? The answer is probably get a different pad, you shouldn't have to do anything extra to keep it on your leg these days.

so I think iv narrowed down the problem and found a solution, I bought one of these while I was in Spain, https://garraclimb.com/en/ the problem is the material that surrounds the leg is suede and the straps are stiff nylon. The other problem is the anatomy of my leg is rather tapered from thigh to knee, the two issues combined means the thing has no chance of staying on my leg. I decided to fix a small maillon and soft shackle from the top strap of the pad to my belay loop on my harness. In sorts, this creates a suspender-like system to keep the pad from sliding down past the knee. Its a good thing I don't boulder much because the harness is key.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
