Don’t know the seller, but I’ve been living in these boots in Alaska since spring (except when I can trade them for chacos) and LOVE them. Lighter than I expected, good ankle support, good sticky rubber, stay dry much longer than shoes do, a great shoe for long days with a heavy pack or boulder hopping. |

Yes, they are super lightweight - filling the gap between approach shoes and heavier mountaineering boots. If you want to go light and fast, and travel over mountainous terrain with ease...these are a good choice. These would not be a good choice for higher altitude mountaineering, but for smaller ranges during the Spring/Summer/Fall, they are primo. The rubber on them is excellent, and the "climbing zone" on the sole makes rock climbing in them a breeze. They are also good in snow and moderate ice, with crampon compatibility. |
