2005 Pontiac Vibe GT for sale, 194k miles.

Perfect dirtbag car! I bought it on Mtn Project, and hopefully I can find some lucky person to take it off my hands. Moving across the country and need to sell the Vibe. KBB values it at $2400-3300, priced to move asap. Here are the details for those who are not familiar with the greatness that is the Vibe:

- GT model with 6 speed manual transmission, same engine as the Lotus Elise. The Vibe was a collaboration between Toyota and Pontiac, so it's the same car as the Matrix and built on the same chassis as the Corolla I believe. Very speedy, yet fuel efficient. I've gotten up to 33mpg, and average 29mpg with a mix of city and highway driving.

- Mechanically sound. I put a new battery and air filter in the day I bought it, and new windshield and wipers in March (no chips in the windshield). Tires are in good shape, it needs nothing. Clean title.

- Back seats fold down easily, plastic floor goes perfectly flat. I'm 6'2 and have slept in the back fully stretched out. The liftgate can also pop open just the glass for those hot nights when you need ventilation. It is much more spacious inside than you might think.

- Ground clearance is good for a car its size. I haven't ever bottomed out, but I've also never taken it on rough roads.

- Bought in December from a fellow Mtn Projer in Colorado and drove it out to North Carolina, I've put maybe 5000 miles on since buying, mostly driving to work and trailheads.

- Power locks and windows, automatic headlights. Sunroof works like it should. Drivers side window does not roll back up if you roll it down. That is the only issue with it, and my remedy for it has been to just remember not to roll down that window. There are minor scuffs as you'd expect from a 15 year old car, and some small rock chips on the hood.

- AC blows nice and cold as it should, has not had any DIY charges or anything.

This bad boy will make a great car to live out of if you're into the idea of living out of a car, or a great weekender camping mobile, or just a great commuter/everyday vehicle. I am in a FB Vibe group and have seen countless people getting over 300k miles no problem out of these. $2200 is a sweet deal already, but I'm motivated to sell so make me an offer. Located in Asheville NC, but am willing to drive an hour or two to deliver if you're serious. Messages that come from Mtn Project lately have been going to my junk folder, so it's best to call or text me at nine70 729 0173. Thanks

Do you have more photos of the interior? Have you done a buildout for a sleeping platform?
