Spearfish Canyon Camping

Looking for some free camping in Spearfish Canyon. Not picky nor in need of any luxuries. I found dispersed camping along Tinton Rd. and also the Black Hills Nat Forest. Thoughts there or is there something better? 

Drive past the Hanna campground and camp in ththe meadow on the left, or drive further past that to a T intersection where you take a right and there is a small pond with a good parking area.

Sand Creek in Wyoming is also free but further.
