I'm trying to climb at clear creek from July 15th-25th.

I am looking for anywhere near by to car camp/ hammock camp.

White ranch open space has a walk in campground (1 mile or so) although it could be closed due to COVID? Looks like Idaho Springs has some dispersed camping although I've never been there. Golden has an RV Park that probably has no openings. Clear Creek really isn't a camp and climb kind of destination so there's not a ton of camping in the area.

Chief Hosa has a camp ground less than 15 minutes form some of the crags.  I think it’s closed for covid currently.  More like 45 minutes from the upper canyon (tunnel 5/6) is the Jones Pass area with a lot of dispersed camping.  Golden Gate canyon state park has camping and some climbing.

It looks like Chief Hosa is open, and probably your best bet for climbing further up the canyon. Definitely just 15 minutes from great climbs in the tunnel 5/6 region. Might head up there myself some time...
