How to apply Rhino Performance?

How do you all apply Rhino Performance? Just the finger tips? Your entire fingers? The whole hand? Fill the bathtub and slip in? But seriously.

I understand it is best to let it soak in for a while (overnight), but sometimes this is asking a lot. I don't have time to sit around for hours without touching anything and I have trouble sleeping with the stuff just sitting there on my hands (not to mention that it sort of creeps out my partner). So, has anyone found it beneficial to apply and let soak in for merely a few minutes? Maybe Rhino Dry would be better in these instances? Please, help a sweaty guy out.

Rhino performance is a lotion, you rub it in like any other moisturizer. Its a little greasy at first but then it dries. It’s  designed to use to help repair your skin and prevent sweating, use it at night after a hard climbing session.

Rhino Dry, I spray that liberally on my palms and rub it in. It’s alcohol based so use it whenever you want in the days leading up to a hard climbing session, no real residue left over to worry about

I forget the name of the roll on stuff but that I just rolled onto my fingertips but I stopped using that and replaced it with antihydral.

My hands sweat like nothing else. Most people will tell you that if you put anything more than a thin layer of antihydryal on your finger tips that it will cause extreme drying and cracking, I wish. I use antihydral by rubbing enough onto my entire palm and fingers that I have coated the whole palm with a thin layer, let it dry then go to bed and try not to touch anything. Do that for about three nights in a row then a week later I will have dry hands.

Active ingredient in Rhino Performance, Rhino Dry is methenamine, same as in antihydral.

Justin from Rhino here.  For performance cream, it soaks in pretty quick so I don't think you will have an issue going about your day after application.  It is not like some other products that physically stay on your hands and you can't touch stuff.  They are all designed to absorb and be non greasy.

Also,if you would like a bathtub full of Performance cream I would be happy to sell you a 55 gallon drum of product for $2500 shipped.

Same active ingredient in much smaller percentages and they are mixed with different ingredients. I tried the Rhino stuff before trying Antihydral because the Rhino stuff was supposed to offer the same sweat protection while being less harsh on your skin. Neither one work as well for me as they do other people, but I suspect that is because I actually have hyperhidrosis while the majority of climbers that use these products do not, they have normal skin, not the same oily sweaty swimming pool for skin like I do.

Don’t get me wrong, I like the Rhino skin stuff, especially the performance, I take that on every climbing trip and apply it every night after climbing, for the healing properties with a kick of anti perspiration thrown in. But for straight sweat control, I use copious amounts of antihydral.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
