Clearing out the gear closet, selling my wife's Suunto Vector. Very durable and dependable. Includes altimeter, barometer, and compass (and of course time/date). It's in great shape, we just don't need it anymore. $45 OBO plus shipping.

OLD SCHOOL COOL. I used to have one of these. Wasn't super dependable for me-- I warrantied two of them before giving up.
It's funny, I was just looking at the new garmins-- for $400 you can get a watch of the same size that has altimeter, barometer, compass, 3x gps, connectivity to phone, sp02, heart-rate... and it is all solar-powered so ends up lasting a good while. Pretty impressive how much better the tech has gotten. (well, these old-school watches have much better battery life, to be fair).
best, matt

Clearing out “the wife’s” gear closet. I hadn’t thought of that. Wonder if there might be any repercussions?

Is this waterproof? And is it rechargeable or does it use standard watch batteries? Does it have an alarm function?
Thanks
EDIT: sorry, just read the spec page for the watch.

I will include a signed permission slip from the wife stating that she no longer needs it. She doesn't have a Mtn Proj account so I'm selling it for her.

best, matt My wife had a very different experience than you! She also had a Suunto heart rate watch that she loved, but sold to a friend recently. She used this through a 4 year outdoor leadership degree with no issues. Yes for 10x as much as I'm asking you can get a watch that has 10x as many features! This watch is basic compared to today's watches but maybe this is all someone needs, and they don't wanna pay $400.
