With the 110+ forecast all next week, I've been trying to figure out a way to put a home wall in. I've got enough space for pretty much a full sized moon board, but it would really dominate the whole house when not in use. Has anyone seen foldaway home walls? I made a sketch for a wall that folds up into a giant side table when not in use.
Does anyone have ideas for folding/removable supports to hold it up? Why is this a horrible idea? What would you change to make it work?
edit: its supposed to be a full size moonboard, i just realized its a little short. Imagine it scaled up another half meter.

I could see it working if the faces are made out of 1/4” aluminum plate so it could be thin enough to fold up nice, and be ridged enough to hang on. Then you just need some way to lift and anchor it from above while in use. You would have to limit hold size close to those tight hinge angles though too. If you can aford it i can build it.
ps: Ive got ideas for a hideaway crack as well but that is a whole different conversation. Also don't let the heat get you down. I was out at Pinnacle Peak today from 6 am till noon chasing shade and it was great! Even “South Crack” is a great one after its in the shade on the hottest afternoons of the year. Just time it right so you can get out by closing time with a couple minutes to spare.
