Hey all,
I’ve been doing some training for running lately and am in search of occasional running partners. It’s hard to stay motivated while training solo. I run most days of the week and am generally pacing my runs between 7-8 minutes per mile (on the trails). Right now I’m working on building up my mileage and developing consistency in my training. Generally I run 3-4 miles on easy days, a 6-8 mile run once or twice a week, and try to do a single, weekly long run between 10 and 20 miles. I’m training for a 50k in the fall as well as some possible bigger trail runs later in the summer. Any other Central Oregon climbers/people stoked on running? I live and work near Smith Rock and do most of my runs in that area. Let me know!
