Having a hard time deciding between the two ropes. Thoughts on differences? Anyone know which one is more durable?

In general the thicker the rope the more durable.  I had a Sterling as my first rope and it lasted forever.

I’ve had both those ropes. The Sterling was pretty bomb proof. The infinity is holding up pretty well for the year I’ve had it

Honestly I would buy whichever was cheaper, you won’t be disappointed with either rope.

Both great ropes.

I’ve have both. They are both great.

Only real difference I know is that you don’t have to get a dry treated rope to get the bipattern with the Sterling. Mammut makes you go dry treated for a bipattern.

I have both and prefer the Sterling because it seems to handle better.

i have had a bunch of both ropes.  they are both great.  lately i have been going with the mammut as it is a bit thinner and my wife likes it a little bit better for belaying.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
