I know there are currently travel restrictions but this will change eventually and wont stop me from planning my frivolous adventures ahead!
I want to know where is the best to got sports climbing in Central America? I have seen there is climbing activity around Guatamala city and south east of Lake Atitlan that looks like nice rock to play on.
Also Im looking for a climbing buddy who likes adventure and ready to plan for some post lockdown fun.

Mexico has tons of awesome spots near Mexico City. Aculco is really nice splitter basalt reminescent of Paradise Forks in AZ. There's a good bit of other spots around there too, but not sure about the safety situation of these places these days, you would have to find out before going.

My favorite spot in Guatemala is a sport crag near Cerro Quemado outside of Quetzaltenango (Xela).

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
