If I'm a large in most gloves, including BD's crag gloves, should I get a large in the new crack gloves as well? Or maybe a medium for a snugger fit?

My ideal handjam is a 1.5 Camalot, and I got mediums. They’re a tiny bit on the big side, shoulda stretched in a small.

Rubber cement on the contact points will help keep them from delaminating.
I’ve put 8500’ outdoor feet on mine and the pinky loops ripped, and the thumbs are close. Extensive jamming wore down the velcro so they need tape to stay closed now.

With all that said, they’re better than OR. And they come in red:

Can anyone weigh in on how much they stretch?  Per BD's sizing chart I measured dead on medium.  The gloves just arrived and they are super tight. I could barely get my thumb through the hole and the finger holes are tight.  The wrist strap sits slightly high on my wrist (which will change if the fingers stretch out).   My old OR glove finger holes eventually stretched out a good bit, but they were thinner material.

BD's glove measuring chart is really bad.  I wish they would fix it.

Get them fully wet and then wear them around the house for a few hours, they'll stretch a bit.  I think it's better for the gloves to be a bit small at first than loose and sloppy-fitting.

With the full coverage thumb, they'll always be more finicky to take off compared to the OR gloves.

Same.  I was right between small and medium (8.5") and erred on the small size.  Getting them off is particularly finicky, much less with swollen post-climb fingers, and the velco around the wrist is pretty maxed out.  Not sure it's worth exchanging them for mediums, which might be too sloppy...

I was also between small/medium and got small... they are tricky to get off and feel tight. I will try the water trick to see if I can prestretch them

These tend to run slightly small for me, I was right in the middle for the medium size but having the gloves start off so tight limited the Velcro coverage at the wrist and having to pull it tight to close fully stresses the weakest part of the glove. My guess is that it would be best to size up 1/4 - 1/2 of a size. So if you are on the lower measurements of Med, then it should be good. But if your size falls above then size up. My experience is with only the medium and I haven’t tried the large to confirm

Are crack gloves a thing?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
