Anyone already used their 80% off code? Want to see if it it’ll keep working for others??? Just trying to see if there’s been an oversight in their programming and we can get some sick pass deals. If no one posts one in the next day I’ll put up my 20% off code.

That’s not a “sick pass deal” the proper term for that is theft...... is your moral compass so astray that you’d publicly announce your intention to steal with no compunction? Your mom & dad must be so proud.

I wish it were a true refund or a transferable code. I’ve now moved and the credit is useless to me.

A bought a multi-day pass good for any days to a local resort and didn't use any. We got a ton of snow and literally the day I was planning to start going they closed down (before any regulations stated they needed to). They said the days are good next year until December 18. Woopdee do! I typically don't ski until later in the season when the coverage and snow is better. They wouldn't lose a dime honoring those passes anytime next season (which other resorts are doing), because I sure won't buy any more passes from them. If I had a pass code for them that I could pass around I sure would do it.

I went 5 half days early season just for something to do and that’s supposed to count for a full season? Vail resorts is banking so hard off this. We bought season passes. Then they get to shut down, sitting on all that money we gave them while they skirt their operating costs for the best part of the remaining season. If anyone wants to talk about theft, why has Vail Resorts been sued for millions over this? They stole from us by not refunding the money. It’s absolute bullshit and The CEO’s are laughing all the way to the bank. Excuse me for trying to recoup some of my costs from the crooks charging $200 a fucking day just to sit on a lift. All the while paying seasonal lift operators and maintenance crews next to nothing.

I doubt they’re making bank seeing as how they aren’t selling any food or lodging.

Do you pay your mechanic only to have him close the garage and say, “whoops”? Cuz that’s what happened. We paid for a service. We paid for operating lifts, electricity, employee wages, grooming, snow making, ski patrol, emergency services, avalanche mitigation, and other general operating costs. But all they did was shut it all down and sit on the cash. Yeah. They MADE bank. But at least we get $100 off next year’s $700 pass! How generous!

To be fair if say 1/3 of the season was canceled (based on projected closing date vs early closing date) they should refund 1/3 of the cost. If they don’t do that they should give a credit greater than that for the next year like 1/2 the cost of the next years pass. Ideally you could pick either one. To only credit 1/7 the cost and for next year (time value of money means it’s worth even less) means the corporation is passing too much of their cost of the shutdown onto the customers.

Season passes are only a fraction of how Vail makes their money. The majority of the money comes from day passes , lodging, and rentals from vacationers. You are saying they made bank by closing early? They closed right before spring break which is one of the biggest revenue and most profitable times of the year. By making the decision to close they lost ~300 MILLION and on top of that prevented 10's or even hundreds of thousands of people from travelling across the country and world to our mountain towns who can't handle an outbreak. Say what you would like but their decision to close in no way made them "Bank" and possibly saved our mountain towns.

I doubt anyone here is sutpid enough to post their personal code from Epic Pass on the world wide internet, but please post yours!
