Recommendations: Using Telescoping Ladders for Development?

Does anyone have experience using telescoping ladders to clean boulders? Most of the rock near me is in the 12'-16' range and it seems like using a ladder would be more efficient than rappelling. Prices seem to vary a lot, mainly based on the duty rating. I'm usually out several days a week and feel like I should go for at least commercial grade because of that and all the dirt and debris that'll be created. I'm not sure though, any insight would be appreciated.

I've used one for years. Perfect for cleaning boulders, especially steep lines and other situations in which a hanging from a rope is not possible or convenient.

Here's what I have. Very durable, just a bit heavy.

Same. Mine happens to fit inside of an organic big pad, which is pretty fantastic. Definitely would recommend.

Used one a few times, they have their pros (being able to get higher) and cons (kinda heavy af). I also remember lugging it in 90 degree weather, which was not fun.

We have found a used telescoping ladder here, Xtend Brand, 15.5' that we will pick up in a few days. I agree that they are pricey but we have wished we had a ladder several times and would rather buy a pricey item but a quality one - these reviews should help https://abovethefloor.net/best-telescoping-ladder-reviews/

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
