I remember seeing pretty massive cliffs with what seemed like some really solid and clean granite. First, I am wondering if it is allowed/legal to rock climb in the park. Secondly, I'm wondering if there is any information or guidebooks on that area, because I can't seem to find much on MP. Lastly, if this national park has a climbing scene that is supposed to be kept off the internet and by word of mouth, please let me know so I can delete this posting. Thanks!

There is very little clean virgin rock in Quebec. It's likely mostly solid, but you'll want to bring a brush.

Ice climbing is allowed. I am unsure about rock climbing (there has been some done in the past, but I don't know how's the situation for rock at the moment. Better to call the park to inquire).

There is no guidebook. I know some people have climbed there in a distant past, but am not aware of recent climbs. But I moved out of Quebec City a while ago, so I am hardly reliable source. There are some Quebec climbing groups on Facebook as well as
escaladequebec.com - maybe someone will no more. Good luck!
