First off: not trying to climb during the stay at home order, not trying to start that debate yet again. Alright now that that is clear.
So back in High School I went out to Bee Rock in Sedalia with friends a couple times to bushwhack/scramble up Bee Rock, I believe it is about 400ft tall and is visible from many parts of I-25 especially around Castle Rock. Once I found a very old, tattered harness on the south slope of the rock. Didn't think much of it at the time but it was probably a 90's era model and this was 2015 or so. Didn't climb back in High School but now that I have been I have been trying to look for any evidence of established climbing there. It's pretty vertical on the main face and looks featured enough to be climbed traditionally. I would imagine it is the same rock type as Red Rocks, Roxborough, and Garden of the Gods based on the shape of it but maybe it is more like south platte stone; maybe its just a total choss pile.
So yeah nothing on mountain project or anywhere else I have seen proof of climbing on that rock other than me finding an old harness so curious if anybody has knowledge or experiences climbing this rock.
