What’s the best temporary or portable hang board for a smaller apartment?  Hoping for versatility and ease of use.

I have the Tension Flash board, which I can use without having to install anything, which is nice. I've also heard people like the Tension Blocks if they have kettle bells or other weights available to them.

I really like having a portable hang board, as I use it a lot when I travel as well. Hang it on a tree, a rafter, a doorway pull up bar, and you're good!

Metolius has a new one designed by Jonathan Siegrist which looks pretty good too.

Small operation. I got a pair of the port-a-edges and I'm really happy with the quality. I've just hung them on my door frame pullup bar, but they double as something portable to warm up at the crag.

metolius light rail is only 29 bucks and super simple

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
