Now is not a great time to learn to backcountry ski or snowboard. Please be courteous and understand local etiquette before choosing to use backcountry areas that are currently being pushed beyond capacity. |

Berthoud Pass is a good place to get into backcountry skiing, but I would avoid using the warming hut. Warm up in your car instead. |
