Im looking to get a new pair of climbing shoes and have landed on the Scarpa Dragos. Unfortunately none of the stores nearby carry the shoe, so I cant try them on in person. I have tried on Scarpa shoes and they fit my feet really well.
Currently Im wearing La Sportiva pythons which are 6.5 US/38.5 EU and my street shoe size is 9 US/42 EU.For how much I downsized them, they have stretched out and I can actually wear them for a few hours.
Im wondering if anyone has downsized them 2 or more full sizes. I've heard that the Drago's can stretch a full shoe size. I was thinking that I could probably downsize to 39 or 39.5. If anyone had any experience or advice, I'd really appreciate it.

check out sizesquirrel.com/ for me it works quite well and is also a good place to keep an overview of all the different shoes I have (8 pairs currently)
for me, it recommends the Drago one EU size larger than my pythons which probably fit similar to yours. 43.5-44 street shoes/ 40 phyton/ 39.5 phytons for a tight fit would be fine/41 Drago recommendation

I'm EUR44 street and EUR 41 dragos seemed to fit perfectly, in my experience they don't stretch that much so i wouldn't go for crazy downsize if I were you, unless you hate your toes

And I always had the impression that I wear my shoes tight... So I have EUR42.5/43 street shoes, Pythons in 39.5, and Drago in 41.5 (41 would fit but I prefer it slightly larger to get the proper advantage of its softness).

So I guess anywhere from 2-3 sizes down should work. I'll probably end up sticking with the 39 or 39.5.
Seem to be getting a lot of different feedback about how much they actually stretch, a couple people from the gym I climb at said theirs stretched around a full size. They said they wished they went down a half size or more.

How is the pain/comfort level? Also how long are you able to wear them?

Also how long are you able to wear them? after breaking in, 2 hour boulder session no problem, because they're super soft rubber socks effectively the pain actually isn't even noticeable unless you're doing a load of edging. But if you're doing a load of edging, dragos are probs too soft in general anyway.

42 street 40 testsrossa (old) for sport 39.5 python (old) stretched to comfyish 41 drago, zero dead space, comfy after break in. Killer for toe hooks and smearing when not crazy down sized
