Madrock Drone/Haywire vs. Shark

Hey guys,
I've been climbing for about 2 years now and tried a lot of model of shoes.
The only one I feel like really feels great for me in terms of toe/heel hooking is the Mad Rock Shark 2.0.
Unfortunately, the pair I have could definitely be downsized to a 8 from a 8.5 to improve performance/sensitivity as I find the toe box comfortable but lacking in performance compared to lets say the Skwama when it comes to both sensitivity and edging.
So, is there a shoe that I should try like the Drone or Haywire that would have a comparable heel/toe hooking ability, or should I just downsize the Shark and stick to what I know?
Also, anyone really familiar with madrock sizing.
If I think 8 is ideal shark size for me I'm interested in how Drone/Haywire compare if you have experience in sizing them.

I went through 2 pairs of sharks before switching to the drone.  The size didn’t change but the feel did. I think the drones have a more sensitive feel to them and the hooks stuck better. It’s hard to describe the feel, but I am happier with the drones. I have heard that the drones are narrower than the sharks, so maybe the 8.5 in drones get you what you’re looking for without downsizing and destroying the toes. Good luck

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
