Hi,
What's your experience with lifetime of mountaineering boots?
What will be condition of the boots and it's glue, when boots is  almost ten years old, but it was stored in good place?
Is there any la sportiva scheme about lifetime warranty with years?

My Raichle Eigers are 31 years old. No issues over their lifespan at all.

My La Sportiva Nepal Extremes are 20 years old...  20 seasons of extensive ice climbing (>25 days/season) have not destroyed them yet, although they are starting to show some wear... looking at replacing them in the next year or two.

My Scarpa Eigers (leather) are 30 years old.  Leather boots will last your lifetime of moderate use. Plastic boots are notorious for cracking espeicially older Kolflachs.

Don’t know how old these plastic scarpas were when my friend got them, but they went from one piece to a million awfully quick.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
