Most of the areas around Riverside with a high density of rock have been thoroughly developed (Mt. Rubidoux, Lake Perris, Juniper Flats, Steele Valley, etc.), and many of the less-dense areas have been somewhat developed (but poorly documented) by ambitious individuals over the years. What's posted here on MP is just a small fraction of all that has been climbed, which is understandable considering everything is user submitted.

I was unaware of bouldering near lake Matthews though, I thought most of those rolling hills were devoid of rock?

@thrutch
It’s a decent amount of chossy rock but you have your good rock here and there. It has a lot of flaky rock so I doubt it’s been developed. I’ve found 4 problems, 2 of them, I couldn’t get.  I didn’t explore half of it. I mean if you’re close by and wouldn’t mind developing climbs. It’s there but I can’t speak for the quality of the climbs I’ve only been bouldering 9 months.

Is this in the rocky hills visible to the South of the 91 freeway?

Freddy..... Keep hunting! You are following in the footsteps of many.
Have fun
