Teeny haul bag?

My friend was telling me about a really small haul bag (he said made by Metolius) for taking just a few items up if you don't want to do a long free climb with a haul kit etc. He described it as fitting in the palm of your hand or around that size. It sounded like you could put some stuff in, bring it up on a thin line after reaching the anchors, and then haul on big objectives.
Couldn't find it on Metolius' website (unless it was a stuff sack?).

Does anyone know what this is or have any experience using something like this? Intriguing idea, not sure how practical it would really be.

*Edit: may have been the waste case. I have already looked the metolius website/HB's. Not looking for the rock and resole # here.
Interested in people's experience using this kind of system if they have some or if there is someone else who makes a similar product (may not have been metolius?)

They make two sizes of haul pack... i have both and are indeed good for hauling say... drill bolt kit water and layers .

Is this what your thinking of - metoliusclimbing.com/waste_…  ?

Its built just like their haul bag, but only 8L. Its great for the intended purpose, but also could be used for carrying what is mentioned above.

Edit - To echo the above post, I have also used this bag for bolting purposes and really appreciated it. (It was a different one from the poop bag, because thats gross.)

The Metolius Shield is a 42 L backpack built like a haulbag. But the material is not as robust as a real HB.

DMM and Fish Products both make small sacks out of haul material. The straps are nowhere near as solid as Metolius stuff, but Metolius is much bigger, not anywhere near the size of your hand.

Fish Beef bags: Pointy objects like bolt kits, headlamps, ice tools and the like make rubbish out of ordinary bags. Enter the Beefbag. The body features 18 oz. RBS fabric and has an easy closing draw collar top. Beefbag sizes: 5"x6" (Sm), 6"x10" (Med), 8"x15" (Lrg). The clip in loop is large enough to grab with gloves on, yet can be clipped in short if you need to keep the bag close to your body.
$15.00, $19.00, & $26.00 ea.

I like Fish stuff sacks and beef bags for this stuff.  Tell Russ you want haul bag material and for a couple of extra bucks you'll probably get it.  I sometimes carry a lot of stuff on my waist in one and could easily use it as a mini haul bag.

Russ is a real good guy to support. Be aware that his stuff is all built to order, so allow time for it. He's done some custom stuff for me when I went off with "do you have anything that, except it would be larger than that... blah blah"  and I'm damned appreciative of his quality and skill in making it, just give him time to put it in the schedule and get it done.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
