I'm a 31x34 and these are awesome - westernrise.com/products/ev… |

I am about a 33 and I have these in a 32. slim but not too skinny. Great pants. And on sale in a 28 for you. |
|
I am the same size and these have been my favorite: |
|
I like Levis 511 or 512 slim/skinny jeans with the stretch fabric |
|
Check out Topo Designs, Boulder Pant....size down for a slim fit. |
|
The straight leg version of the prana zion is pretty slim. |
|
OR Ferrosi pants are the slimmest I know. |
|
I found the BD Modernist pants to be almost offensively slim. |
|
Many brands don't offer pants below 30. Some don't even go below 32. And if you find them, they're sized for someone who is a lot shorter. |

Check out Foehn |

These are great and inexpensive. https://www.wrangler.com/shop/mens-performance-series-outdoor-cargo-pant-nw780?utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=shopping&utm_content=pla&utm_term=NW780BL:32:30&gclid=CjwKCAiAo7HwBRBKEiwAvC_Q8abgv35Nqk0p4h5IrCYYETZ-_AbZWAtAyyfBkt8xDS1wPXBcJc_2HhoCvNcQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds#hero=2 |

Mountain Hardwear AP Pant. |

The Coalatree Trailhead Pants, Slim are a great option too. But, at your height, they will have a higher rise in the cuff, which works great for climbing, in my opinion. The fabric is like a more durable/thicker Ferrosi. Very mobile and very comfortable. |

La sportiva tx pants in a small might be worth checking out. Exact same inseam as my 28x32 Levis. |

I own far more expensive pants from Prana, Kuhn, etc. The Wranglers are cut well, lightweight, stretch and the truth of the matter is that we beat this stuff to hell anyway and it must be replaced. I can purchase 4 pairs of Wranglers for the price of one Prana Zion. Another winner that I like more than the Prana was the Gerry Venture pants from Costco. Unfortunately they seem to make these in large batches and when they’re gone they’re gone. Same construction as Pranas and equally tough if not a bit stronger.Clothing manufacture has come a long way since I ventured into the hills in the 80s. Back then you either bought quality, ie. expensive, gear, or you suffered. The lines have been blurred and off brand clothiers are using far more superior fabrics and construction taken from higher end brands. And some get it right. Just depends on your needs. If I’m going on a climb far from trailhead and multi pitch etc., then yes I may have a Proton FL and some super light puffy in my pack. If I’m banging around the crags for a day of clipping bolts then any old jacket will do. I believe it was Patagonia who said that there are a ton of clothes makers who’s products can do 90% of what theirs do for 25% of the price. It’s when you need that extra 10% that you pay for their stuff. But when it comes to pants, unless I need a technical pant for winter needs, I buy cheap cause they’re gonna end up destroyed anyway. |

Used to wear a lot of Prana, but their fit and quality sucks IMO. |

The only pant avialable overhere that fit my long and skinny frame are the ladies Fjallraven. They go very small but the legs are quite long. |
